We are now a satellite location for the League XS Apprenticeship Academy of Cosmetology and Barbering, helping aspiring hairstylists begin their journey into the industry.
Apprenticeship Program with League XS
The League XS Apprenticeship Academy offers an alternative path to becoming a licensed cosmetologist or barber through a state-approved apprenticeship program. Instead of attending a traditional beauty school full-time, apprentices gain experience working in a real salon environment while completing their education.
The program combines hands-on salon training with classroom instruction designed to prepare students for careers as licensed beauty professionals. Students begin with a pre-apprenticeship phase, which includes classroom training and state board educational modules. Once complete, participants can apply for their state apprentice license and begin working in a salon while continuing their education.
The full apprenticeship typically spans about 24 months, allowing students to earn income while gaining the experience and training required to take the California state licensing exam.
